Pastors Rob & Lisa Boyd are both credentialed ministers through the Assemblies of God who developed a relationship with Christ at an early age, answered His call to become pastors, and completed their education through Global University to begin their ministry. They’ve served for more than 20 years, and are blessed with five wonderful children; Bobby, Liam, Katrina, MacKenna, and Isla.

As young pastors, they married in April 1999 and have faithfully tended their flock ever since. Before being elected as Lead Pastors at Dallas First Assembly in 2021, they held almost every church position there is. After thirteen years as Youth & Young Adult Pastors, they successfully planted and led their own hometown church as its Lead Pastors.

As seasoned pastors, the Boyds are faithful to serve and passionate about missions to expand the Kingdom. Over the years they have sent many individuals on mission trips and into active ministry and have served in many district-level Men’s, Women’s, Church Planting, and Training leadership positions. Their ministry footprint has always been bigger than their local church. They believe a pastor’s role is to equip the saints and develop leaders to reach the unchurched.

Their vision for Dallas First Assembly is to cultivate a family-oriented, multi-ethnic, multi-generational, missional church that intentionally goes into the communities we serve to spread the Gospel.
